Skincare Terminology

  1. Sodium Gluconate - Sodium gluconate is a mild exfoliant, it helps to remove dead skin cells from the surface of the skin. This improves skin texture, promotes cell turnover, and enhances the absorption of other skincare products.
  2. Glycerin - Glycerin is a humectant known for its ability to attract and retain moisture, making it effective for hydrating the skin. It is also non-comedogenic, which means it does not clog pores, making it suitable for all skin types. 
  3. Shea Butter - It contains a high concentration of fatty acids and vitamins that can nourish and protect the skin, improve skin elasticity and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Its anti-inflammatory and healing properties also make it suitable for soothing dry, irritated or sensitive skin.
  4. Cocoa seed butter - Cocoa seed butter is a rich and emollient ingredient that provides deep hydration and prevents transepidermal water loss. It contains a high concentration of fatty acids, anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatory properties.
